This page explains how takeout, local delivery and event platters work at Kyoto-Fu.
Takeout & Pickup
Sushi, sashimi, rolls, small plates and select robata dishes are available for pickup during opening hours. Order by phone; sushi orders are typically ready in 20–30 minutes. Omakase is dine-in only. Pickup is at the host stand.
Delivery Area & Fees
We deliver within approximately 2 miles of the restaurant through our own couriers, covering Hell’s Kitchen, Midtown, Chelsea, the Upper West Side and Lincoln Square. Delivery is $6.95 on orders over $40; a $40 minimum applies. Delivery times are typically 35–55 minutes and may be longer on weekend evenings.
Handling Raw Fish
Takeout and delivery sushi is packed with ice packs and should be eaten within one hour of pickup or delivery, or refrigerated immediately and eaten the same evening. We cannot accept returns of raw items once they have left the restaurant.
Private Events & Platters
Sushi and robata platters for events are available with 48 hours’ notice. Platters for 30 or more guests require 5 days’ notice. Delivery within our area is free on platter orders over $500.
Timing & Late Orders
If your order will be more than 15 minutes late, we will call you. Deliveries that cannot be completed because no one is available will be returned to the restaurant and held for pickup for up to 1 hour, after which the order is discarded for safety.
No Shipped Goods
We do not ship food or merchandise. All orders are for pickup or local delivery only.
