Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Kyoto-Fu website and any reservation or order you place with us. Please read them together with our Cancellations & Refunds and Privacy Policy pages.
Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, reserving a table, or placing an order with Kyoto-Fu, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Reservations
A reservation is confirmed when we send a written confirmation by email or text. Dining-room tables are held for 15 minutes past the reserved time. Omakase counter and private-room reservations require a card to hold the booking and are subject to the cancellation terms on our Cancellations & Refunds page.
Orders & Payment
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax unless stated. A 20% service charge is added for parties of six or more and for private dining. Menu items and prices may change; the price at the time of order applies. Corkage is $45 per 750 ml bottle, limited to two bottles per table.
Promotional Offers
Promotional offers, including the 30% first-visit offer, are subject to the terms on our offer page. We may ask for a valid photo ID to confirm eligibility and may decline the offer where eligibility cannot be confirmed. Offers cannot be combined and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Raw & Undercooked Food
Many of our dishes contain raw or undercooked fish, shellfish, egg or beef. Consuming raw or undercooked foods may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially for those with certain medical conditions. Guests order these items at their own discretion.
Allergens
Our kitchen handles fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, egg, sesame, nuts and other allergens. While we take care with orders marked as allergy-related, we cannot guarantee that any item is free of cross-contact. Guests with severe allergies should speak to a manager before ordering.
Guest Conduct
We ask guests to treat staff and other guests with courtesy and to observe the fragrance-free request at the omakase counter. We may decline or discontinue service to anyone whose behavior is abusive, unsafe or seriously disruptive.
Limitation of Liability
Kyoto-Fu is not liable for losses or costs caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any order or booking is limited to the amount paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Website Content
All content on this website, including text, illustrations and design, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located in New York County, New York.
